**Be careful to not park where it says Enterprise or Cambridge Fire Dept. in the main lot, or through the gate. If the lot is full, do not park at the Apple Cinemas or at Danehy park; the gate closes each night and people have had their cars locked in.

SATURDAY APPLE PICKING – All are welcome to join, no dance experience necessary. This has been a very fun outing in year’s past. We’ll bring a smart speaker and dance in the orchard and pick some apples!

10am at Epic Ballroom, 26 New St, Cambridge. meet here…if you’re getting a ride (or arrange with your driver for alternative meeting spot)

10:45am at Shelburne Farms (there is an admission cost of $32 for a bag that covers 3 people, who split up the apples). We’ll team up in groups of 3 in the parking lot at Shelburne Farms at around 10:45-11am.

Return to Cambridge/Somerville/Boston area: roughly 2pm.

Bring your own group, or join in, there is a ride request form on the registration for the Dirty Water Weekend here.

(Feel free to sign up for the weekend and skip the payment part if you’re only doing the weekend’s free activities). Note: this activity, we’re not charging anything for, but there is an admission from Shelburne Farms which includes a bag of apples (split 3-ways)

Any Swing Goes Competition!

What is the Any Swing Goes Competition? It's sort of like Jeopardy for swing dancing. You pick the category, you'll get a song to dance to...you dance. Other competitors will pick a category as well. The winner will have demonstrated that they can swing to just about anything...because Any Swing Goes! This contest is free to enter and has a really great prize, plus the ultimate bragging rights (we encourage you to be a gracious winner and share your joy with the world).

 

Lesson: 7:30pm-8:30pm
Social Dancing: 8:30pm - 11:00pm

Any Swing Goes Competition - 9:45pm (roughly) 

SATURDAY LATE NIGHT DANCE - Late Night Oddfellow's Friendship Lodge, Belmont

This dance will feature DJ Yu-Wen Wong and DJ Ricky! 

 

We will have pizza there (no additional charge, but if you want to donate towards that, that would be great), also please try to get your ticket in advance so we can get a good estimate on how many pies to buy.
